How do I become a member of MCGC?
The Magic City Gun Club (MCGC) is a private, family-oriented gun club dedicated to promoting the shooting sports and providing a safe, welcoming environment for shooters of all experience levels. We offer a place for individuals and families to enjoy the shooting sports responsibly while building community among fellow enthusiasts.
MCGC is proudly affiliated with the NRA, CMP, 4-H, and the American Legion.
As a member, you have access to the range during daylight hours for practice and recreational shooting, except when a scheduled match or club event is in progress.
Membership Requirements & Fees
- Annual Membership Fee: $100 per calendar year
- One-Time Initiation Fee: $150
- Safety Meeting: Attendance at a one-time safety meeting is required
- Match Participation: New members must shoot four (4) club matches during their first year of membership
How to Apply
To receive an application for membership, prospective members must attend and shoot a club match as a visitor. After the match, you may request an application from the match director.
This is the only way to receive an application for membership.
This process allows prospective members to become familiar with the club, meet current members, and experience MCGC’s safety standards and culture firsthand.
