Magic City Gun Club is located at 7089 Narrows Road, Pinson, Alabama 35126.

The range is open to visitors on scheduled match days and open daily to club members via access code, unless a match or event is in progress.

• Gates open at 7:30 AM, unless otherwise noted in match-specific details.
• Please arrive early to register, pay fees, and prepare.
• Mandatory safety briefings are held 15 minutes prior to match start time and must be attended to compete.
• Match fees vary by event. Please see the Match Director for details.
• No live fire before 9:00 AM.

Fun .22 Rifle Match

Location: Silhouette Range
Match Director: Gary Nichols

• When: Third Saturday of each month at 9:00 AM, January–December
• 50-round match plus shoot-offs
• Ammo: .22 Long Rifle (standard or high velocity only)
• Open to first 45 registered shooters
• Match fee: $5.00 (please bring $1 bills)

January 17 • February 21 • March 21 • April 18 • May 16 • June 20
July 18 • August 15 • September 19 • October 17 • November 21 • December 19

Junior shooters (17 and under) will be classified separately by age group. An adult must accompany junior shooters.

Safety:

• Eye protection required (prescription glasses acceptable)
• Ear protection required for youth; recommended for all shooters

• When: Second Saturday of each month at 9:00 AM, January–December
• 50-round .22 LR silhouette match
• Shooting positions: propped, bench, prone, or freestanding
• Scope recommended but not required
• Open to first 30 shooters
• Match fee: $5.00

Pistol

Fun Pistol Match

Location: Pistol Range
Match Director: Jerry Davis

• When: Fourth Saturday of each month at 9:00 AM, January–October
• 90-round NRA Outdoor Conventional Pistol course (25 yards)
• Designed for new shooters; experienced shooters assist beginners
• .22 LR most common; safe centerfire pistols allowed
• Match fee: $5.00 (50% payback to class winners)

Matches typically finish in 2–3 hours.
